Structure Founded in 1998 by a group of dedicated clearance professionals, CLEAR has grown into a thriving network with over 135 members, primarily based in Southern California. Recognizing the need for a formalized structure, the group reorganized between 2010-2013, establishing itself as a 501(c)(6) nonprofit business league. CLEAR is entirely member-driven, funded exclusively through dues and sponsorships. Every dollar is reinvested into events, networking opportunities, and expanding the organization’s influence within the entertainment, advertising, publishing, and licensing industries. Our strength comes from our collective commitment—CLEAR is more than an association; it’s a shared effort to support, educate, and uplift professionals in rights and clearances. |
